Quest not letting me select sparkling area and unable to progress what am I doing wrong ?

Let me add to this, im at the spot the old fairy sent me its glowing and sparkling but will not let me click on it nor does anything happen, been standing here several hours now. Is there away to restart the quest ? or what am I doing wrong. Thanks ahead of time for any help.

There's nothing to click on. Instead, while standing in the indicated spot you want to do the /lookout emote.

If the objective is ever "do x emote" at a location, you just walk up to the sparkles and do it. You only have to target if its directly to a person

As others said, do the emote. IIRC, the location sparkle was kind of picky on positioning. I had to be RIGHT on the spot.

Easy mistake to make, hahahha. I did that myself when I was starting out. Taught me a lesson to actually read the quest objective. X’D
