Are there penalties for mentors treating sprouts badly?

I've ran into a similar issue with a mentor before that was disrespecting people and I had them removed from the Novice Network, only to be removed by them from an ALT account they had still in there.

From experience, you can report this for abuse of the mentor system and/or harassment and it works.

It's not shocking but if you ever need questions answered, novice network is not best option to use.

I will disagree with this. Situations like the above are definitely the rare exception and not the norm. At least on my server anyway. No clue what kurfuffles happen on other servers.
