    Properties.

One of the main things I was excited for this game is I could get a house, and upon able to purchase a house or land, I learned I had to grind some things out in order to purchase one, and after doing so, I learned that I couldn't even buy the property because there is a certain order to things, such as FC before people, people whose played longer, and that's cool and all if that's factual, because reading the information as to why was rather confusing and sad that multiple places including the original source, was confusing, but I'm on a high pop server, and land is a rarity.

I think instead of opening up areas to place more houses you need to expand on wards, so everyone can enjoy not just the people who can get to the new area quickly if one is coming out due to shadowbringers, I'm not sure. I think expanding on wards will give everyone a better opportunity instead of running a race or waiting. I could not sit for hours and await a property to become open for when I could buy it, due to how things go, and that's kind of okay - if there was more properties.

Before it is said, I am aware of FC rooms and apartments. This isn't a rant or anything, it's a suggestion. I very much enjoy the game thus far, minus the expansion I am currently in before the big hype one, I am thankful the community is nice, along with people who make wiping a fun experience and it definitely does not deter me playing the game yet.

I think luck is a big factor. I was really fast the last time they added wards, the moment the servers came online. But the login system can't process that many people simultaneously so many of the people in that first minute got kicked, and some lucky ones made it in.

If you were unlucky and got kicked you have to attempt to login again but it's too late by that point, the login servers can stay heavily congested and broken for as much as 30 minutes on a patch day morning especially one with new wards. By the time it lets you in, all of the plots have been taken by the first wave people who didn't get kicked.

I don't actually need a plot, was just trying to move the FC to a more desirable location and let a friend move into our old plot. Anyway, should be noted that personal homes now allow up to 3 tenants and those tenants can be granted full privileges of decorating and gardening. So sharing with a friend who already owns a plot is an easier path.

Any plot that's up for sale in wards 1-18 can be purchased by an individual or an fc as long as the invisible random timer is not active on it (the timer you see on the plot is a devaluation timer that adjusts the pricing, but is not related to the rng timer). Housing relocation is not limited to the random timer's restriction however, so if someone that has a house likes that plot location better, they can move to that plot without waiting. Wards 19+ at this time have a temporary restriction on them that allows only FCs to purchase plots, or anyone to relocate to them. If you're looking for a personal plot at this time, you'll want to check on open plots within the first 18 wards.

Let's just hope the Firmament fixes this issue.

People are believing it's a player-made housing district that has the potential of being constantly updated with new districts and sub-districts. That would fix the issue in a heartbeat. Then it's just whether you want to live in the frozen north or not.

Granted, it's all here-say at this point. But some hope lay within those words. Especially since the Firmament looks like a housing district from far away. But it could be a giant bait-and-switch and we don't know until it's done.

I am placing a good bet its a housing district, the restoration project is just a fun way to allow the player base to earn it. It also pulls the crafting/gathering community togather and lures in new crafters so a plus there.

Note: Taking advice from a players alt, is like taking advice from a voice in a dark room. Criticism is a two way street remember that!!
