That sounds more like a you problem? I have no issue on a controller. Maybe it's that.
Could this smart cast be accomplished with an MMO mouse macro, or is that against rules?
Yeah, I've tried the <t> macro thing with Salted Earth while playing DRK, and it is definitely not a solution I'd say...since this game seems to have specifically designed macros to suck, I find it doesn't reliably go off because of the forced GCD delay with FFXIV macros. Like I said before, I wish they'd just add a "double tap" option like SWTOR had for ground target abilities. Press the button once and it activates the ground target placement indicator, press the button again with a target selected and it will cast it centered right on them. I sure as hell know I can double tap a hotkey faster than I can get a macro to decide to finally go off in this game.
Yeah, you sort of have to mash the macro for it to come out "reliably", but even then it can still mess up and not occur. Ive heard filling every line of the macro with the same line can help, but Im not really sure.Yeah, I've tried the <t> macro thing with Salted Earth while playing DRK, and it is definitely not a solution I'd say...since this game seems to have specifically designed macros to suck, I find it doesn't reliably go off because of the forced GCD delay with FFXIV macros.
