Moogle Tomes, Castrum or Hidden Gorge?

With the moogle event out again and a couple of mounts i need on it i have been trying to work out the best duty to spam from time spent vs tomes gained.

Seems tome that these two duties come out the best but are too close to call. If hidden gorge runs to it's 20min max timer then castrum is better. But if hidden gorge is completed before the timer max then it works out better.

Praetorium i don't consider worth it because the time to tomes makes castrum and gorge better for farming them.

With all the others the time to tomes earned seems equal or in some cases worse than praetorium.

Right now i am unable to test gorge since the queue times are long due to it being off peak hours when most people are at work ect.

Just wondering what others think, which of the two do you think works better, or do you disagree with my assessments and believe one of the duties i have discarded is better for farming.

Between the two, I'd normally consider Castrum slightly more favorable if you're a tank or healer used to 23-25 minutes dungeon runs (those 23-25 minutes includes the unskippable cutscenes.) But the queue time can be a hugely variable factor/wild card at different times of day for Hidden Gorge. [The latter may be faster if more people are willing to queue for PVP.]

For me personally, I'd run Aurum Vale with my full Offensive 5 squadron when I'm healer to clear the dungeon in less than 15 minutes for 5 Moogle tomes. [I already gotten the Kojin and Ananta Beast Tribe quest area themes in 3 completed runs. I spent only 14 Moogle tomes total. In addition, I am currently lower ranked for both beast tribes at the moment, so the Moogle tome event gave me an easy alternative to earn and use the orchestrion rolls.]

once i'm out of this run i'll give Aurum a try with squad as healer, squad as tank and a duty finder run see how that goes. If it works out better then will stick with that plus a daily main scenario roulette for the exp/tomes combo since i still got a couple of classes to finish leveling.

I started by doing aurum vale in duty finder and stopped after 2 runs because tanks and healers were always item level 470 people who did not seem to know how to play (dying as a tank if doing bigger pulls or tanks doing big pulls without any cooldowns and standing in aoes) so after more people got online I just did a premade party with at least 1 bluemage in and nuked everything.

What i'm doing is rolling tank for the instant Praetorium queue and just doing that. Got the game on mute and listening to an audio book. Super low effort, but time consuming. I'd rather do that than spam Aurum Vale as BLU endlessly imo.

EDIT: Hidden Gorge is apparently MUCH more fun way to grind the moogle tomes out. Going to stick with this now.

Got a nice Aurum Vale farm party yesterday. Tank and 3 BLUs. Runs were super quick ~5-6 minutes. Everyone needs to know what they are doing and BLUs need all the required spells, but overall, if you don't care about PvP, this is definitely the fastest method.
