    Ranked PvP

    Hi all, extremely new to FF14. I come from a WoW background of MMOs and have always loved ranked pvp, but I hear pvp isn't really FF14s thing. My question is, are the rumors true? Is pvp lacking to the point where its really not worth it?

    Subjective. Some love it. Some complain. I have enjoyed it, although it's not currently my focus. Try it and see for yourself. =)

    So FF14 is a story-driven mmo with a PvE focus and mild forced grouping(an instance every 2-4 levels or thereabouts). But some people ignore the story. Some are die-hard loners. And some really love the PvP interactions. The open world doesnt have any, so dont bother looking. You have the more casual friendly options(front lines, rival wings), and you have the ranked options(the feast). They do the feast in seasons, with exclusive rewards at the end for those who do well. Season 14 started about 3 weeks ago.
