Note System for friends list

Don't you wish for those people that you put on your friends list that seem to have habits of changing their names a lot, that you could put a "Note" on their name that can be used to help identify them? For example, who they originally were? So that when you spot an unfamiliar named Friend coloured name you aren't going "Uhh, should I know them? I'm afraid to ask....."

Would make keeping track of people MUCH easier.

I agree. It would be very helpful to keep track not just of names but also, say, how much Gil I owe them or some outgoing RP plots (for those who RP).

Had to search up this thing I did read on this forum this same week:

I got quite the shock logging into a character I abandoned due to harassment after thinking it was finally safe with a name/race change and several months between then and the incident, only to have my harasser immediately poke and ask who I was. My bad for unblacklisting them thinking that time would make them lose interest but knowing they had been tracking their friendslist like that and watching for immediate changes was a kick in the gut.

Until they fix this, notes should not be a thing, in my opinion. It's sad, but it's better to ask about "who are you" still.

For sure. I can't remember half the people by name I have on my friends list. If they ever message me I just pretend like I remember who they are.

Yes, please!
While I frequently write with some close ingame friends and do enough stuff with them to never forget who that is, I have several people I found through PF or stuff like Relic grind and I can never remember who I met where, on which role and why we added each other. Adding little notes like "relic grind", "e4 farm healer" etc. would be marvelous!
