    Game randomly crashes.

    I'm not certain if you can even call this crashing as no error message pops up or anything in that vein. Randomly, several times a day, my game just straight up closes instantly. It will restart immediately and work perfectly fine until it happens again. It seems to only happen when I am not in a dungeon or instance only when I am in the overworld. I have no idea what's causing this and it only happens with FFXIV no other games I play. Any help is greatly appreciated. Cheers.

    When did this start happening? Do you recall anything changing/updating on your PC that coincides with this?

    What have you tried so far in order to alleviate the issue?

    Can you submit a Final Fantasy XIV system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'

    I have begun to have this problem as well. I have done a purge of local "My Documents" files related to the game, and also updated drivers. Still crashing, please fix.

    EDIT: After looking at the forums and seeing a lot of recent issues with the DX11 client, I downgraded to DX9 and am experiencing a longer period of stability. This isn't a long term fix, as DX11 DID work fine until today, but it seems a standing workaround for the moment.

    Omedon, are you able to create your own thread and provide the following:

    - System report (go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.')
    - Trouble shooting attempted
    - Where error occurs
