Only thing of the sort is being attacked while mounted in frontlines, which gives you a massive speed penalty. In the open world you can take hits while mounted without a hitch.
It used to be. They removed it.
From 4.2 patch notes: Players will no longer be inflicted with the Heavy status effect when taking damage from behind while mounted.

Don't see how having to stop to heal everyone back up makes it more immersive or engaging. All it does is waste time. People aren't trying to roleplay their way through the dungeon with a bunch of random strangers. They want to get to the end, get their loot and get out as fast as possible. For those not in the know, certain dungeons with long falls used to bring every member of the group down to a single point of health, requiring the healer to mend the group's wounds before proceeding further.
A while back it was changed so that fall damage was negated, though I would like to see the change reversed to ensure that dungeon runs are more immersive and enjoyable.
Healers have lost so much over the years and it's a real shame that they lost the opportunity to heal their groups after a nasty fall.
Now adding a RP mode to dungeons for pre-formed groups to toggle on that would include things like fall damage might be an interesting an idea. I don't know how much extra work that would be for the developers, or if it would be worth their time if too few players choose to use it.
Thanks for confirmation. I didn't notice having the debuff for a while, but didn't pay much enough attention to it to realize they finally removed this.
No, no and also hell no.
Fall damage is just stupid.
Yeah but Aion has flying combat + you're actually the one flying rather than having your lazy ass carried by a mount, so it makes more sense there.
