HQ Pear Discrepancy

This might be trivial but I was using some spare alligator pears to level some classes. I had a couple HQ in my bags so I used one wondering what the effect would be even though the description is the same. Ended up being the same to not much surprise but what was is that using the normal one caused it to overwrite it to a 30 min duration. Mineral Water and normal Alligator Pears stack with each other but HQ won't because it registers as a different buff oddly enough. So is the HQ buff really the same or is there something hidden we don't know about?

Most(all?) of the "fresh fruit meals" dont give a stat buff, just an exp one. There is no commonly available food that offers a larger exp buff then the 3% one, but if the food provides an additional stat bonus then the HQ version is 10% better. But it also says that right in the food description, so it isnt hidden or anything.

I wasn't expecting more of an xp bonus or stats or anything. It's just odd that the HQ overwrites other food that give only 3% xp and no stats instead of stacking like the NQ and mineral water do. I can take an alligator pear and a mineral water and it gives me 60 min but if I eat a HQ Alligator Pear it will reset to 30 min as if it's a different or superior buff despite giving the same benefits(no stats only xp). So that begs the question of why?

Maybe the HQ version gives a 3.3% XP buff but it's displayed as 3% due to rounding? Dunno. Should be easy to test. In any case the HQ buff probably counts as a different buff due to whatever automation has been used to create HQ versions of items.
