Question about Alt Characters & Blacklist

I'll be as brief as I can.

A few weeks ago, I blacklisted someone for harassing me - consistent tells for days straight with insults slung in, all because I refused to join their FC and was going to start my own.

Yesterday, someone from the same FC spoke to me and friended me. Seemed all right to me, until I took a look at their profile. Almost the same Nameday (two days off), very similar character appearance, and a ranking member of the FC.

While I prefer to wait until I see if something happens, I'm curious if I should take any precautionary measures - such as unfriending and blacklisting, or contacting support.

Pretty sure you can report for blacklist circumvention, if that is what's happening here. Without having all the specifics - if you feel you have reasonably good evidence (doesn't need to be ironclad, the GMs can look into the back end and see if it's the same account), I would suggest the following:

1. Open a ticket with the help desk explaining that A. You blacklisted someone for harassment and B. you believe they are circumventing the blacklist, either through friends in their same FC or perhaps alternative characters under the same account. Include specific date/times and /tell messages, if you can.
2. Blacklist the second character.

Alternative, you can just do #2, and if it happens yet again, then contact the help desk explaining events up till that point.

Whatever you do, I would suggest keeping records of date, times, and specific messages so you can submit that info should you decide to contact support later.

If they harass you again, just Blacklist
If they haven't done anything, no need to do anything.
