The Cloud Fantasy. (And why Buster needs to be in the game.)

Class name is Just placeholder atm.

Hey all. Ever since I have started playing this game I have been brain storming about the whole Cloud fantasy in this game.

He have His hair, his clothes, and his bike from advent children. Cloud has been a loved character within the game forever now. And honestly I can't see why that fantasy hasn't been realized.

Now in my brain stormings I have come up with several ways that a "Buster" class could be in the game.

Here is what I have so far.

    Class: Burster

Role: Melee DPS (Makes the most sense and is the desired roll)

Gear: Same as Dragoon. (No one else uses this gear at anytime And as it is STR gear it suits a guy wielding a giant sword)

Weapon: Buster Sword. Special weapon. Never replaced.

For the Buster Sword its self is where I have put much thought. And I came up with a system that not only makes the devs work easier but also fits into the fantasy. The Buster Sword you get when you do the quest to become a Buster. Is of the highest rarity. Purple I think it is. And the way you upgrade it is instead of getting weapon drops you get special Buster Sword materia that when used on the sword ups its stats and ILVL. This means instead of trying to make 100~ versions of a Buster Sword you can put more effort into making one totally awesome. And say have a couple quests give you glamor versions of other Buster Swords found in other Games.

The Sword in question Should be modeled after the one in Advent Children. As the part where its made up of multiple sword plays into the abilities Described later. It should easily be as big as the character using it. and on Lalafel's slung sideways making it look like they have trouble walking through doorways.

The actual Abilities used by the character are based on ones used by Cloud. Both melee and magical. Weapon attacks use swords that are part of the main sword. Like how during the movie Cloud is seen dual wielding the 2 largest Swords. The wealth of abilities Cloud has used in games and movies should easily fill out a melee kit, Magic kit and utility. And for the LB3 Limit break the one used against Sephiroth at the end of Advent children is perfect.

Now why would I say that the next expansion would be perfect to introduce this Class. Well in SB we have literally bridged the gap between worlds. Whose to say we don't do it again. Or that someone else does. Maybe a threat from one of the shards breaks through to threaten the Source and a certain someone follows it.

I know my Ideas may suck. But I had to get this out there. before I went abit nuts.

Not saying this is a bad idea, because parts of it sound interesting. But on the one hand, we already have a handful of buster sword-esque weapons for DRK--which, combined with everything else you named, is plenty to make a Cloud "fantasy" out of. On the other, by designing the job idea with that sort of "completely different from everything else" weapon progression in mind, you're just ASKING for said idea to be implemented as another limited job at best--which, based on my understanding, only a minority of the game's population actually enjoy.

Were we born to fight and die? Sacrificed for one huge lie?
    Are we heroes keeping peace?
    Or are we weapons?
Pointed at the enemy so someone else can claim a victory?
