I was having a discussion with an FC friend about my recently unlocked battle panther and how it compared to the other tank only mounts and the unicorn.

I got to thinking why don't other jobs get mounts for long time playing? The tank mounts do take a while without dedicated grinding.

I personally don’t see a reason to give DPS mounts, and here’s why.

The reason tank mounts are a thing is because they’re meant to be incentives to incentivize players to queue into content as a tank because there was a significant enough lack of people playing the role—DPS jobs don’t need any incentives like this because there’s no shortage of people that would rather play a DPS job over a tank or healer. We’re a dime a dozen. The CNJ unicorn mount was meant to be an incentive to play the class back in ARR. They weren’t arbitrarily rewarded to those 4 jobs/1 class while the rest of the jobs/classes were ignored; they’re incentives and shiny carrots on a stick. The same is the case for the BLU Morbol Mount.

Healers deserve incentives more than ever after what’s happened to them in Shadowbringers. I’d be all for healer mounts.

Have one's forgot Blue Mage got its own mount now the malboro mount. Why shouldn't other classes now get there own mounts to. Maybe if they added a mounts for healer classes I would have gone back to healing. There's no incentive for me to ever be healer again.

The BLU Mount is an incentive to do content on BLU. Just like the tank mounts are an incentive to do content on tanks. They’re carrots dangling off of a stick—something DPS jobs don’t really need. I can agree on incentives to play healers, especially given all the backlash about their design philosophy for the role in ShB; but the DPS are not in dire need of players to fulfill the role.

Raubahn arm mount! I mean like. He's not using it anymore! It could have little thrusters or a propeller built into the wound cavity!
