Exactly. Me getting replies like this.. THIS:

Watch out everybody! You post a differing opinion from the majority you are breaking the ToS! These are the English forums.

Can't we just tell them "this new thing broke, can you fix it" and see what they do about it before fetching the pitchforks?

There's certainly no way the glitched legs are going to be left looking like that. I would expect it to be fixed in the next patch, hopefully with a bit more testing than it seems to have had the first time - but if it develops new and different glitches again, just post a bug report. They've worked out how to provide a thing we asked for (actual skin-toned stockings) which may be crashing into one of their other systems.

And for those accusing SE of putting time and effort into "ruining" the 2B pants for you? I suspect it's the opposite: they took what they thought was a shortcut by simply making it turn off existing parts of the model when worn under longer gear. Most likely the fault - as with the Quaintrelle's skirt - is how they define longer gear. Nobody decided it should display like that with specific equipment; it's a decision made possibly years ago that waist decorations won't be visible under that chest gear.

Also, it's possible that the person adjusting the model has different priorities to you. Say they were handed the instructions "stop this from clipping through the wedding dress, and make the stockings transparent" (both issues formally filed as bug reports on the forums). They did that job as instructed, they fixed the known bug, and they certainly didn't do it to spite you all.
The butt is still there on everything, but long tops. This was a fix from probably a utilitarian perspective. They were probably told, bug reports of clipping, so they make the butt not clip. I completely agree.

Oh wait, I can't post that. I am still "gas lighting" I suppose.

What is gas lighting, and how can this get me reported around these parts? :3

    No. BROKEN.

An issue wherein the graphics of equipment obtained from the alliance raid the Copied Factory did not display correctly.
    * As a result of addressing this issue, certain equipment for the hands that appear as bracelets will now display. However, certain equipment that appears as rings will no longer display.

This is specifically referring to hand items. Unless you can specifically point out where this is indicated otherwise I have no doubt it's just a botch on their transparency handler and just got overlooked. I don't think they may have been working on nude asset model, it's possible that it was clothed, and when it was turned on they may have not noticed it was an additional one that works on the lower half which is now causing the problems now.

Sometimes you don't know something your fixing may be linked to another part. It's not like they were probably looking at ever model under a microscope and all angels. Someone probably went "oh there's the handler for transparency!" *switches on* breaking it on another part.

I mean it's not the first time also assets got mixed up in patches as well. Sometimes old or test assets get put in when they meant to put in a different set.

They're not perfect, and since it's happened by accident multiple times from them before, I wouldn't be surprised this is the case now

Here ya go with making perfect sense and providing facts and logic. That kind of talk isn't normal 'round these parts.

The glam was originally intended to add shape to characters posterior to emulate 2B, this was the purpose of the glam. Now it doesn't even work with actual glamour set it was designed alongside. They changed a fundamental reason the glam was the way it was. They didn't "fix" it they practically deleted it and replaced it with a separate item that goes against the original design philosophy, if its a "fix" its one hell of a failure.

I took a closer look at it what it's doing now. It looks like it may actually by flatter looking than the "natural" butt. I guess it's lowering the butt as usual but then flattening it with any top that hangs down at all. I still think the un-flattened 2b butt is droopy. To each their own. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

They probably thought fixing a few cases of clipping was more important. They are maybe over-concerned with small graphic issues that would be better off leaving as is because the cost of fixing is too high. Just like how they were probably too afraid of using the transparent effects on clothing because they knew if they used it, it would causes some small visual issues in some rare cases. It disappears when you put it behind another transparent effect like water or glass. So they tried to use a solid color for the lacey/hosiery parts on 2B's dress/YoRHa raid gear just to avoid this issue.

Turns out that a solid color looks terrible on any character without pale skin. Everyone kept saying it just wasn't possible to do a transparent effect on clothing, so it had to be this way. But then SE was able to quickly to put a transparent effect onto 2B's dress/Yorha gear after a lot people complained. I find it unlikely they just suddenly got the ability to do this, so I think they just didn't do it originally for 2B's dress because they were trying to avoid the small issues the transparency causes.

Well, they were told about Quaintrelle's skirt back in May of 2018 and it remains the same, so "let's wait and see" doesn't seem like an effective strategy.

That's my thinking, just SE priorities. People are acting like this is and I quote "regression" or censorship, I highly doubt that. Probably just got bug reports about 2b bottoms specifically.

The issue your also brought up makes a lot of sense, according to you since it is multiple longboots that are causing the same effect, it's probably an issue with that skin tone thing. In the other thread I think people said the raid bottoms were also effected in that way. People are trying to co-opt the bug of a completely seperate piece of gear, the various raid bottoms, to call attention on 2b.

    This is true.
    Normal butt
    Unaffected Ranged Butt
    2B Butt
It was clearly meant to solve clipping with the 1 bride dress or w/e and in that context it would be fine as you can't see it.
