    Trust system question.

    Hello,

With the trust system is it possible to level your toon to 71, unlock trust system, and then do all the main campaign with the trust system?

Yes, you can do the entirety of ShB MSQ dungeons with Trusts. Not trials.

If you're asking about the Shadowbringers MSQ, then the answer is mostly yes, however you will still need to participate in two 8-person trials in order to advance the story at certain points

Ok thank you for the info. It seems like a fun way to experience the MC.

I did all my msq dungeons using my trust on my main and alts. I think it's a pretty cool addition to the game. I've since leveled my trust on my main alt and will level it on my main soon as well.

So you have to be level to 71 before you can unlock the trust? I been reading about it but it doesn't seem so clear on some sites.

Trusts are only available for Shadowbringers dungeons.
The system unlocks when you reach the first ShB dungeon in the main story, which will be a level 71 quest.

The first content that supports Trusts is Lv71, so yes simply because if you weren't lv71, you wouldn't be able to enter the dungeon.

D'oh, somewhere between opening the thread and posting, I was beat to the punch.

There are essentially two (sort of three) systems for how trusts work.

While playing Shadowbringers MSQ, when you reach a dungeon in the course of the story, your NPC companions are automatically available to accompany you into the dungeon. Your choice is determined by which characters are actually with you at that point.

Until you reach the end of the MSQ, you have the option to replay those dungeons with trusts via a menu setting, and the same choice of characters as determined by the story.

Once you have cleared the game, the system changes. You now have a fixed set of "avatars" of the main Scions, who start at Lv71 and need to be leveled up by repeatedly running dungeons with them. You cannot choose to play a dungeon that they are not sufficiently leveled to access.

Getting these to Lv80 re-unlocks the ability to play with the story-specific group of characters ("scenario mode") and lets you pick alternate costumes - not free glamours - for the avatars.

Post-credits MSQ dungeons (but not optional dungeons) still give you a fixed group of Lv80 companions to clear the dungeon and progress the story, but you can't play again with them until you finish leveling the avatar trusts and unlock scenario mode.
