    Unable to complete version check [30410][30607][20457][404]

    I originally use wifi, but tried again with the ethernet to no avail. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the launcher AND game countless times. I am unable to use a cellular "hotspot" as sometimes this fixes the issue. Please help.

    Have any updates or changes been made to your network settings? Is the Final Fantasy XIV application allowed through the fire wall?

    He is not the only one with this problem, it seems the lag spikes are back for certain people because the response to your server is timing out which is causing the version check issue. Right now when I am able to get to the login screen I am showing a poor connection and nothing has changed in router settings or anything. The router was removed from the equation to allow for a direct connect and the same thing happens. This has just been going on over the last 3 days and it seems to be mainly at night during prime time which would be 7pm-12am EST.
