Is there still hope for any dancer and GNB raid or previous primal weapons?

When I first saw the new jobs when they were announced, I was instantly very excited to see all the dancer weapons they would make and especially excited for having something like shinyrus chakrams. However after looking all over on launch I was very disappointed to see that there were none and even more disappointed to see majority of weapons were reskins on uninteresting weapons. I have been hoping that they would add them sometime soon despite them saying it's not their focus but still nothing. I was even more disappointed recently to see they reused the shire weapon for the ultimate weapon on dancer. They seem to want to avoid making any new weapons for the new jobs as much as possible. It's just a shame because to me the new jobs feel limited by their lack of weapons, and with them saying they have no plans, that just makes me want to quit dancer and try to find a new job since AST was gutted for me and bard is hardly qualified as a support now.

I too, have been sorely pining for GNB (and DNC) backfill glams when it comes to primal weapons, weapons from old raids like Alexander, etc.

From what i remember from an article, Yoshi-p said there wasn't any intention of giving primal weapons for those two classes.

Yeah, I was also disappointed at launch because I expected them to do the same thing they did with RDM and SAM and put weapons in the older fights. Hopefully craftable ones will be soon.

TECHNICALLY, the Alex Ultimate gunblade shares a model with the one from Mt. Gulg, albeit about 5-10% larger. Obviously this doesn't change your or the OP's point in the slightest, but if (like me) someone out there wants a weapon that shares the same base model with any of the Ultimate ones, it's best to have accurate info on where to get it.
