Beast Tribe Quests Sync

Even though I've been around since 1.0 I have never been involved with crafting/gathering, let alone beast tribes until now. I leveled all my DoH and DoL except fishing to 50 back in ARR, but never touched them until now.

My DoH are all around 60 with Miner and Botany are over 70. Figured it would be wise to cap gathering so it can help me with crafting.

So what I would like to know if anyone has done beast tribe quests since the quest sync was added and post 5.1 so they can recommend or not if they are a viable way to gain exp alongside deliveries and grand company turn ins. I know the beast tribes have materials and special items locked behind their reps I can work toward, but that will come in time. I'm mainly interested in their exp viability at least for now. I want to avoid quickly depleting my leve allowances. Waiting to get more gives me a sad.

I'm a casual player so I don't do high end battle content much so most of my time lately has been capping my DoL and DoH, since I like the idea of omni crafting which I have to assume is usually the best option. All we have is time right?

Pixie is combat beast tribe, but Namazu is good for 60-70, not sure about 70+. When the Shadowbringers DoL/DoH beast tribe is available, it should be good for 70-80, though who knows when that will be.

Currently you get like a level from doing all 3 namazu quests, so I'd say its definitely worth it.

And anyway, it takes like 10-15 min to do all 3 so you might as well.

Nope, when you go outside the intended level, reward goes to be 10,000 exp.

I think Ixali is a bit tough for low level. I remember only being comfortable doing it at level 40+.

With Ixal if you have a crafter at a higher level you can craft the mats as them and turn them in as your lower level crafter to give them exp. I leveled CRP first to 50 and then made the turn ins for my other ones slowly getting them up to make their own down the road.

I leveled most of my crafters with moogles and then namazu beast tribe quests. Along with the weekly cusom delivery quests for whoever is goving the bonus that week. 70-80, right now would be do restoration if grinding or the deliverys good exp per week and the class quest for story exp

Some recipes are insanely high for the level they are intended: once I knew which quests are the ones involved (Manual Labor, I look at you!), I did skipped them quite often.

Yeah. Some of the ixali crafts are stupidly hard at lower levels (though IIRC they removed the CP and cross-class debuffs a while back.) I went the cheater method, crafting things on higher level classes and turning them in on lower level ones.
