The ixali and moogles only offered crafter quests(though a couple of the ixali quests you needed level 1 unlocked on a gathering class). For the namazu they included options for both crafters and gatherers.

The Namazu are a great source of DoL exp for doing very little, between 60-70 only. once you hit 70 the exp reward drastically drops, plus you can only do 3 (sometimes 6) a day, so if your looking for something more - then those already mentioned would suffice. I did my BTN 60-70 in just under a week, just doing these Beast Tribe quests & the Grand company turn in's. my gathering is something I do more casually & leisurely so i sometimes don't take too much of an interest in it.

Levequests got my BTN from 59 to 80 in around 3 hours. And I wasn't even being "effective".

Don't forget the GC turn-ins. I've been leveling my BTN and MIN recently, and handing in HQ items has usually bumped me up 2-3 levels a day from just those alone. Also, if you're going to spend some time in the field gathering stuff, don't forget to use at least some cheap food for the extra 3% XP plus throwing in the GC manuals to further boost gathering XP.
