Makai stuff missing from Calamity Salvager

That's not what they're talking about. It is fully acknowledged in this thread that people were aware when the collab was ending. The problem is, all they said in recent patch notes was that you'd be able to obtain previously gained items from the Calamity Salvager. The ONLY proven mention of having to have the achievements to be able to repurchase them from the Calamity Salvager that's been provided so far is 3.55a patch notes from over 2½ YEARS AGO. So, clearly people newer to the game would not fully understand what to expect when they didn't say anything in the RECENT patch notes about needing to have the achievements to repurchase items.

I'm certain there was a recent post in the context of "Garo collaboration ending" that detailed what would've available from the calamity salvager and how, and to ensure you do not discard the other pieces.

Maybe I'm mistaken, but it's what I remember reading.

I peeked through and all I saw was the one post from August, with a reminder from a post in April, that just said this:
"* Previously earned gear, mounts, and titles will remain usable after Patch 5.1.
* Gear you have previously earned can still be obtained from the Calamity Salvager after Patch 5.1.
* Attempting to complete unfinished achievements after the release of Patch 5.1 will not be possible as the achievements will no longer be obtainable."

And then the more recent one from October:
"It is also important to note that the Heroic Spirit Shield cannot be repurchased via Calamity salvagers even after unlocking the Echoes of the Golden Wolf achievement. Be warned that if this item is discarded, it will be lost forever, so please take extra care when handling this item. We recommend placing it in the glamour dresser for safe keeping.
* Updated Tuesday, October 8 at 6:00 p.m. (PDT)

We are also looking into the possibility of adding another invisible shield in a future patch."

Granted I already knew how the achievements worked, which is why I did way more pvp than I ever wanted to in a solid week to try to get all the gear in time, buuut y'know. Maybe I missed an announcement somewhere else, but I can understand the mistake if anybody missed it.

Well, I also would have liked the gear to be there too without the achievement requirement since I didn’t have all of the jobs leveled and also could use the inventory space.

And I would have liked them to be more specific about the time frame early on rather than just saying 5.1. They could have been clearer in every Garo warning saying something like “5.1, which we currently expect to drop in late October, although this is just an estimate and may change as development progresses.”

Then again, I also would have liked immortal flames to play in a more organized manner on my data center - usually everyone just splits up, runs around randomly, ignores objectives and dies. If anyone tries to do callouts they are usually ignored by at least half of the alliance.

Did not, I'm ot a pvp player so I just farmed the pieces I wanted....I guess i'm f*** then Y.Y

This is even more frustrating as I have the Makai Fists glamored to my current MNK weapons. They're still showing but since I never got the achievement I just can't get new ones and glamor them to anything else. Guess I'm just never changing my MNK weapons I guess.

Make sure you also do an /isearch [partial item name] in game too, could be you just don't remember where you put the items.
