i am a black mage level 80. ss 1840. crit 1559, and I cannot beat him. get all the way to the the dragon heads and kill them with full health and MP and give him all I got and I cannot finish him before his kill spell goes off. I have watched all the u tube and see nothing there to help me.

It sounds like your rotation probably needs tuning up. Head on over to The Balance discord and skim over the BLM resources 'till your heart's content.

It would be more informative if you tell us what gear do you currently use, what materia do you meld into, what kind of rotation do you use, how you currently handling the mechanics etc...
so we may be able to give more insight or some solution...

Sounds like rotation/dps check issue. Also gear could be an issue

Should be able to select easy or very easy once you level up. Rotation guides help, I beat it when I hit 78 and updated my gear and cause I was mad I choose very easy and just annihilated him in revenge lol.

Triple cast and swift cast are your friends. Don't use scathe, sharpcast T3 instant T4 is better for DoT when you have to run from hot pursuit.
