    Error 90002 since 10/30/19

Anyone else being plagued with this error every 2-3 hours? I started having this issues since last Wednesday (Oct30) and it's been happening ever since and it's starting to get really annoying. I've done a lot of research into this problem and it seems to be an on going error that many people are struggling with and something SE is ignoring, blaming it on our ISP and the route. That the issue is our PC to ISP to SE server routes that are taken. (I play many other online games and Final Fantasy 14 seems to be the only game that disconnects)

I have contacted my ISP many time over the weekend and they told me it wasn't anything to do on their end (I am using fiber optics with speeds of 105Mbps down and 100Mbps up)
Tried changing my UPnP from 1 to 0 in the ff14config as one post I heard said might work, but nothing. Another post said to disable the LSO (large send offload) in my network settings and that's didn't work.

I am at my wits end with these error 90002's. And it's sad that SE has been ignoring this issues for so long!

"Internet Options" and adjust the following settings:
    - Under the "General" tab, please delete ALL browser history.
    - Under the "Security" tab, please move the slider to the lowest possible settings or no higher than "Medium"
    - Under the "Privacy" tab, click “Advanced” and select ‘Accept’ under both First Party and Third Party Cookies.
    - Under the "Advanced" tab, please make sure that "Allow software to run or install even if signature is invalid" is CHECKED.
    - Make sure that all SSL and TLS (EXCEPT SSL 3.0) are CHECKED. [SSL 3.0 should be UNCHECKED]
    - Hit "Apply" to save the settings, and then "OK, to close the Internet Options menu.
    - Right-Click on the FFXIV launcher icon and select "Properties"
    - Go to the "Compatibility" tab, and change the compatibility mode to "Windows 7"
    - Hit "Apply", then "OK" to save the changes.
    - Please RESTART your PC now. Once your PC has been restarted, Right-Click the FFXIV launcher icon once more and select "Run as Administrator"

I tried doing this but to my surprise! Disconnect at 7:00PM mountain time today (November 5). It seems to happen every two and half hours and has been like I said since Oct 30th. I am running out of options and I can only go so far to bug my ISP because I'm always dealing with some crazy delay lag for the last month in-game and only in this game. From early October my game has started to lag from the hours of 7:00 PM mountain to around 10:30 mountain time, but any time before that or after that the game runs fine, no lag issues at all. I've contacted my ISP, had a tech come out to my house, look over my lines, checked the fiber cable and the RJ connector, had it replaced with a new one. New router set to allow all my games to get pass the firewall and Final Fantasy 14 seems to be the ONLY game that been having lag delays and back to back 90002 errors every 2-3 hours.

Can anyone please throw me a bone! if you ever had this issue, how did you fix it or was it ever fixed? Please help me out!

Good afternoon and thank you for visiting the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

Are you connected directly to the router ore you using WiFi? Where in game do you experience the disconnection?

I see people having this issue all the time and SE just copy-pasting the same reply over and over without offering any substantial assistance.

I had this issue but worse a few days ago. I was getting disconnected randomly every few minutes, making the game unplayable; I finally gave up. After a day or two I followed the steps you mentioned through Internet Explorer to no avail.

Finally flushing the DNS, restarting the pc and running "ffxivboot" as administrator, seemed to help. So far no disconnections *knocks on wood*.

I hope this can be of help to you, I know how frustrating it is to find no help whatsoever. If I know of something else that might help, I will let you know here.

I have the same problem, but only in Dungeons/Instances... including Trust runs. Anyway, I tried EVERYTHING and still got constant 90002's in Dungeons. Finally, after reading a thread on reddit about it dated 1-2 years ago where the OP was in the same boat as us and tried some VPN's and GPN's in the end, I tried WTFast as my last resort. I just finished a Trust dungeon.... and had no DC's at all. Gonna keep testing this out, but fingers crossed.

I've only been running into this issue for about a week now, mind you. So idk what could have changed during last week to make me dc a lot as nothing new got installed or updated.

Just tried WTFast on a few Roulette dungeons, still no DC's. So far so good. I can now see the point where I would normally DC without this GPN, when everyone stops moving and I can't use any skills. Then a few seconds later, I rubberband back into position and my skills go off. Not ideal, but it's better than a 90002 black screen.
