An Lad - True identity? (SPOILERS)

So the latest BT the pixies features An Lad a pale pixie who seems to enjoy the nightmares of children. Whilst playing through I noticed one of the things they say where they are describing their dreams - They were in a 'Cramped old castle'. If you remember to the Titania trial one of the things she says is 'I'm tired of this cramped old castle' - I think its pretty obvious that the two are linked. Maybe An Lad is whats left over of the original Titania, pixie souls are different from mortal ones, maybe once the WOL consumed the light they were yeeted back to their original form?

My guess was just that as well. It's def some piece of the original Titania, especially based on the color of An Lad's skin and hair, which are exactly like Titania's.

I mean you add in as well that the song that plays in the special zone is a redone version of Titania's theme as well and it does make a lot of sense that the two characters are related.

I did the, uhhh, 3rd rank up quest yesterday, and in it we learn that the previous Titania was the best friend of Tyr Beq and co-creator of the dream garden back as a regular pixie. Ezel II doubts that An Lad is an actual reincarnation of the previous Titania, but muses that her residue aether must've at least somehow influenced An Lad's "birth".

Yeah, the wording was blatantly deliberate, but later quests outright confirm that they're one and the same.

Do they ever explain the "terrible, grating voice"?

Gotta love the unbelievable coincidence that had to happen for An Lad's 'birth', child's soul being reincarnated as we kill and absorb the Lightwarden, though does beg the question would a primal dispersing also cause a pixie's 'birth' to give it a split memory as well?

Also An Lad is not the previous King Titania reincarnated they have however obtained some of their memories and desires creating the twin dreams An Lad suffers from, that come from both the unique child's soul and the previous King Titania's aether being dispersed. Really is just bad timing, kinda sad we save the region but condemn children to suffer nightmares that would've eventually claimed them had we not intervened.

There are five doors in Lyhe Mheg, which would correlate to each area of Norvrandt (minus the Tempest which is presumably tied in with Kholusia).

In light of that, I would posit that the last door is Il Mheg's and the voice speaking to An Lad is perhaps their nightmare.

With the recent rank up quest, obvious nightmare victim is An Lad so the gate could be to Il Mheg or even directly to Titania's castle. However, there is this spell that An Lad cast on Tyr Beq seemingly without any effect, so it is possible that Tyr Beq might start having nightmares too.
