There it is; it took less than a minute to log me in automatically and get me back in the fight:

As you've probably found out, it places you in a queue.
The queue is to hold you until it makes sure your character isn't still logged in, verifies no data corruption, then reloads you where you should be in the game. (especially if you were in an instance dungeon, it's gotta make sure you don't appear randomly in a glitches instance dungeon XD)
