    weird ps4 crash

    platform ps4

    time 3:45pm

    server/world Chaos/Moogle

    hi there i just had a weird crash while running the weeping city of mach everything was fine but i came to point where i could still move but my actions werent working and when i tried moving to the next area it wouldnt let me i didnt receive any errors so i had to do exit the game entirely.

    this just happened again in the new nier raid at 2nd boss this has only started as of patch 5.1 as before this never happened.

    also getting 5 to 10 second lag spikes i aske around my FC to see if any1 else was getting lags n crashes and some have said they have.

    just crashed again please do something your update has made playing virtually impossible.

    Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

    It sounds like you are having some connectivity issues between your home network and the game server. I'd suggest trying some of the following if you haven't already:

    1) If you are connecting to your router using a wireless connection, try connecting using an Ethernet cable.

    2) Try resetting your router by turning it off, then back on after a few minutes.

    3) Check the following Port Ranges on your router/modem to ensure that they have been opened:
    ▼TCP
    54992 through 54994,
    55006 through 55007,
    55021 through 55040
    Your ISP can open these ports for you.
