That's dumb it doesn't show up you would think they make all new helmets able to be worn by both new races. SE must be getting very lazy if it's still happening

They said the lack of headgear was a design choice, not just that they weren't ready yet.

Originally nothing was going to display at all, but the modelers put their own time into making some specific types of headgear available.

Don't expect any helmets, now or in the future. Whether it's an artistic decision or an excuse to be 'lazy' and save work, it sounds like they can't-or-won't do it.

It's funny Viera can wear level 58 crafted helmet that looks like a dwarfs head and Nier raid helmets but none of the others. But anymore seems like SE loves limited race's, primal weapons, and jobs. If don't see no new hair styles for Viera by 5.3 sure not going to stay as one.

You've actually seen the head pieces? I've seen nothing but accessories, a fair mix of shoes and hands, 1 chest, and not a single head piece.
