    I notice them the most on BRD and DNC compared to any other jobs that have combat sounds. DNC steps no longer trigger combat sounds so I just used the regular combo/proc actions. As mentioned in the OP, I use Miqo’te Voice 2. I haven’t tested on my Hyur alts or my Viera yet.

    I'm using Female Lala voice 1. There are three grunts added. Two of them are higher pitch and are passable. One of them which annoys me to no end sounds like a fluffy puppy bark. I don't know if there are other female lalas out there with voice one who have the same problem as I do.

    Just my opinion, but I'm wondering if the ff14 sfx team has been gutted to work on other projects or something because the sudden terribly handled voice changes, GNB sfx change in its 123 combo and something else I've read on the forums here but can't remember what it is has to do with that.

    Because...these changes are all terribly handled. :/

    Did every voice get new soundbits? I don't hear anything that sounds new on my male Au Ra (#5), even with the voice cranked up to 100 on DNC/BRD. My Viera (I think shes #9?) has a new grunt thats a little higher pitched than her usual combat voice, but its not terribly off to my ears.

    If anything I think its more jarring that you no longer grunt/yell when you do dance steps. I liked my bun's angry dancing warcry, it'll be missed lol

    I love the new combat noises Miqo voice 1 makes, mostly because I can finally say it's noises, plural! Multiple! More than one sound played over and over during my constant spam of Heat Blasts @.@ I appreciate the added variety a lot.

    If there are issues with the other voice types and they decide to adjust the new sounds, I hope they leave miqo 1 untouched at least. I think they got this one right.

    I'm the opposite. I use miqo 1 and I absolutely hate the new voices mixed with the old. I think they should give us the option to not have the new voices. My character sounds like two or three different people now because they're voiced as such. I hate it. I hope this feedback reaches SE. It's such a small thing in the grand scheme of things but it's a world of difference.

    My character was already fairly silent before the change though now I don't hear him at all when it comes to combat sounds.

    I switched back to Midlander tonight, voice 4 has some big changes I actually like them wasn't expecting that huge of a change and I actually like it, when I was Viera voice 9 didn't change at all but the noises for voice 9 I could barely hear them anymore.

    I also haven't heard any new voice bits. Still my only two are "haaa!" and "Uahh!" during my rapier fights. No change since I started.
    Which is kinda sad, because I know from GW2 how much atmosphere proper battle sounds can add when you hear people grunt, yell, scream in pain or in excitement instead of a turn-based "Ouch", "Oh.", "Ugh" sort of thing every 100 times you get hit.

    But then, I have the typical rough Plainsfolk voice (by accident I picked the right one and learned later Plainsfolk and Dunesfolk males sound different according to the voiced cutscenes) and after those years I can imagine it's near impossible to recreate those.
