All they really did is homogenized tanks in pvp entirely, they are exact the same now with literal few skills different from the rest. Worst patch for tanks ever, i liked 5.0 much more. This is a little over-dramatic and dodgy. I'd say having a universal stun and taking it off of some of the other actions, especially Onslaught, is going to have an overall net positive in most situations. The two more difficult things to evaluate is going to be GNB having to be in melee to stun and DRK losing their yoink without having to commit an action to it. I think GNB is losing out on the CC changes though I can't say I feel a lot of sympathy for the job with the damage it had at least in 5.0.
Overall as a tank main I am happy with it and I thin we will have a reasonable participation rate.
I would find it nice if SE would give also all classes these currently Pvp only skills to pve too, I see absolutely no reason for it why for example a monk should be able to use Axe Kick only in Pvp, makes absolutely no sense to limitate the usage of skills to specific gameplay modes at all.
The skill sets of all classes have to be in both modes exactly the same and it's the dev's job to balance that out for pvp.
Playing a Monk in PvE should feel like the exact same as in Pvp, just only that numbers, durations, recharges may vary between the modes for balance reasons
Plus Se has finally remove all role skills from the game and merge their effects individually into the job skills of the classes and fill up the gaps with new skills, like for example partwise those mentioned pvp only skills as pve versions
