Seperate inventory for crafters and gatherers

My inventory, my chocobo saddle, and my retainer's inventory are all constantly full because of my crafters and gatherers. The majority of my inventories is all the miner ores I need for armorer and goldsmith. I struggle with my leatherworker because I have little room for all the items I need for it. I'm not even going to attempt doing carpenter because I have no inventory room. My botanist is on hiatus because, again, no inventory room.

I got this idea from a friend. It would be nice if we had a separate inventory for all the items we gather with the gathering classes and an inventory for the items we make with crafters (i.e. ingots, rings, whetstones, lumber, etc...) this way our inventories wouldn't be in a constant state of full.

(Sorry if something like this has already suggested)

Hmmm why you holding everything on you all at once? Use your retainers for storage and take what u need for your current craft.

Youre probly holding on to a lot of older materials you no longer have an active use for. Once youve outleveled something it becomes fairly trivial to replace. So id recommend looking through your lists and getting rid of anything you dont use at least a few times a week. Maybe keep any mats that are annoying to go get again(im picturing diremite webs, fleece, maybe mithril because its out in the middle of no where - that sort of stuff), but otherwise clean house.

only carry items which are commonly used, you just need more experience to figure out what items are rarely used in anything anymore, like most botanist herbs etc, so if you really want to make a walnut table, go gather a few walnut logs but don't save any extras.
