Always try things out in the Wolves Den, before you queue with a new job or if that job had significant enough changes. It is the only place where you can use pvp actions on a dummy.

In terms of most to least casual: Frontlines, Rival Wings, Practice Feast, Ranked Feast

Watch streams, ask players with ranked pvp titles, use Discord, make sure you know how to burst and a lot of common sense.

i learned pvp by doing it? there's really no penalty for losing (unless you're in ranked feast) so I just say go at er.
