Please for the love of god let us remote-access the glamour dresser

The skin application system in this game is the worst of any modern MMORPG that I've played. People pay a monthly fee and additional "micro"-transactions for costumes to then deal with the inconvenience of cluttering their inventories or saddlebags with glamour items, or put them in dresser templates which are inconvenient to use for single items and heavily limited in slots, or locking them away in the dresser which can only be used to apply glamour to items by directly interacting with the dresser.

A glamour system that is so far behind what Guild Wars 2 (to my knowledge) invented and what WoW emulated is not appropriate for a game of the caliber of FF14 and being able to access the dresser from anywhere would be one of the biggest quality of life improvements to people who like to switch around their costumes.

The curious thing is the locations that Glam dressers can be in.

Notice that they are only in places where there will never be a second person.

A feedback reciently indicated that it would be very hard to put one into your housing.

I, for one, really don't mind going to a dresser to store clothes in game much like a civilized person does IRL. I, also, believe that not everything needs to be instantly accessible and just a menu away. This is content that exists in a purely optional sense anyways.

Lastly, while good ideas can be borrowed, not every game should aim to emulate the other. What makes games stand apart is not all the ways they're the same.

I would settle for being able to apply glamour plates outside of cities. Or heck, even just inside of rested xp areas would be an improvement.

Sure, but what does this have to do with the fact civilized people IRL typically store their clothing in their own residence, instead of being forced to travel to the largest city in their region and check into an inn just to change their outfit?

Yeah, tbh even just inside of cities and residential districts would already be a massive improvement over the current system.
