But if they did that, you would just be staring at the boss with nothing to do, just like staring at the cutscene with nothing to do, wouldn't you? Its basically the same thing, only difference is what youre setting there staring at, isnt it?Or at the very least check to see who have cleared and allow those to skip cutscenes but lock us out of the boss rooms.
The cutscenes are damn ridiculous and not even joking gives me anxiety at times having to endure Gaius or Cid ramble on and talk slooowly and not able to do anything else.
The xp is good but once a week is enough for me, i would rather fate grind or like do anything else
Or ... here's a thought. Just a radical idea: You take care of your kid. yes the queue time and the cut scene time take for ever, but lately i've been playing it with other new players who have never experienced it before. 6 calls and an angry women sounds like you have your priorities mixed up there.I really had a hell of a time yesterday because I was in the middle of a praetorium run listening to Gaius ramble, and the daycare center kept calling me telling me to come pick my kid up. I didn't know what to tell them, because the run wasn't even halfway over yet. By the time I was out of my run (and like 6 calls later) I finally got down there to pick him up they were real mad at me because I guess the lady had to stay way over because my kid was still there and she couldn't leave.
Anyway, I was thinking maybe they could just have the cutscenes play at like, 1.5x speed just to make the pace a bit faster. I think people would still have enough time to appreciate the cutscenes, and it wouldn't take so long for busy players like me.
Yoshi said that there in the process of making new MSQ dungeons as there too much work to salvage. When they get released is unknown.
Honestly they should just make them solo instances with either npc's like the trust system, or a complete solo instance. There is no reason for the MSQ roulette to exist at this point, literally none.
2.0 Veteran from 2013. Just looking to be helpful. DRK is Love, DRK is life.
(Ignore the levels on my character card, the tool i used to make it hasn't been updated for 4.0)
