I did. I argued about Warrior changes back in Stormblood. But the community didn't agree with me, and so changes happened anyway.

It doesn't matter how you feel about the changes, if you're the minority, you're going to lose out.

It's worthwhile to point out that forum users make up a tiny minority of community members as a whole. This isn't just an FFXIV thing, it's every forum.

As a rule, the people who take the time and effort to post on discussion forums like this are the most dedicated players, but certainly not the most numerous. Pretending we represent some kind of majority is just nonsense. We matter, but we matter way less than a lot of us think we do.

Personally, I don't mind they added an easier difficulty to story quests.

It'll make it easier and faster for new players to get through all the old content.

On the plus side, this will benefit people coping with handicaps/illness/injuries and that can only be a good thing. Also, if someone is struggling with a solo instance but they want to improve, the Echo is no longer slapped on automatically. You could always right-click it off but I'm not sure how many people knew that.

Personally, I don't have any problem with this feature. How someone else chooses to play in a solo instance doesn't have any impact on me at all. Though, I am somewhat surprised at the number of people who want to police how others play outside group content.

Well, just tried the first solo instance in 5.1. playing as Estinien.
Failed the first time, selected very easy mode, failed two more times. Near the end, all I was doing was dodging AOE's and barely getting any hits in.
Move with mouse and keyboard, stop, try to click an ability, move again. repeat, dead. I'm not about to redo my keybinds just so I can move and fight at the same time.. Giving up for the night. Maybe giving up on FFXIV entirely if I can't get through this damn thing.
It needs a SKIP button. or just let me play my own character so I can DPS and move at the same time.

Hmm I did it first time - Make sure you use your potions for the first bit then the second bit your attack that gives health and make sure you use that awesome LB too - I should not be too hard.
