    Panic over content skip due to disconnection

    I'm posting on behalf of my friend who's captains promotion for maelstorm squad members was skipped due to a disconnection (a cutscene ) and since there is no clear option on how I should contact in game on something like this I thought I would try here for them. They have checked to see if the quest was reset and checked the journal at the inn to see if anything was re-watchable but it is not. Is there a way for you to contact them and resolve this issue? This happened on Goblin server, character name Adora Pandora.

    No clue as to why this thread was moved over to "general discussion"... It's not a discussion, its not really a bug, therefor where do I get support from? Care to direct me GM? ... what a mess.

    Did he try talking to the npc again, or is the quest gone? Did he also check his character status on his character sheet to see if it gave him the promotion? Did he also check his squad status?

    That character is a Storm Captain, so the promotion went through. The cutscene itself is unfortunately not rewatchable, but surely someone on youtube has uploaded that.

    There's a template for technical support requests, posted in a sticky thread at the top of that forum. If you don't follow it, your post gets rejected, and General Discussion is where it gets sent rather than being deleted.

    Thank you. I looked at that previous to posting this. It did not seem like any of that information was necessarily needed for others to post their technical concerns, of which most of them got a response, so I took a chance in hopes I would at least be directed somewhere or would get the assistance my friend would have appreciated in-game. I looked at other areas of the forums but had no access to posting in them such as the "not a bug" section or "bug" and even possibly submitting ticket elsewhere via account/ in-game. I guess since it wasn't a personal issue or simply as you said I didn't somehow fit that specific criteria for the "tech support"... *shrugs* The issue was dealt with either way aside from the disappointment.
