Having issues making friends in-game. Am I missing something?

We all want friends, but we all still need that all important connection. I found that approaching people is simple, but connecting with them is hard.

I've found most people here are very friendly and outgoing compared to other mmo's. Don't be a jerk, play your job/role to some level of competence in group content, and don't be afraid to talk to people. You'll start making friends soon.
