Since they're part of a group, the natural reaction is escape out of those Active Help windows blocking their screen so they can catch up to the group and contribute. They're not going to sit there and take 5 minutes to read through all of that. Once they're out of the dungeon, they're not likely to remember what all the topics for all those Active Help windows were even if they remember they had been there to be read.
I'm a fairly new player (only been playing for a couple of months now), and this is basically what happened to me. You get several Active Help windows all at once at the start of the first dungeon, and I had absolutely no chance to read any of them before the rest of the party took off. I escaped out of all of them just so I could keep up, and I didn't remember what windows popped up when I went back later.

A nice QoL feature would be a menu somewhere that lists the most recent Active Help topics you have received, so you can review them again later when you have more time. As it is, I learned about LB from reading threads like this and then looking it up on YouTube.

Tank LB is extremely situational as well. DPS is a bit more straight forward, but you'll be competing with other DPS over it and it might not be clear how to best use it.

Mentioning LB in the Hall of the Novice is probably a good idea, but it won't have that much impact. Some players won't be able to meaningfully use LB until long after they've forgotten about the Novice courses. The best way to promote proper LB usage is to teach other players. If it really bothers you (general you), provide some LB advice to new players. If you're in a position to LB, maybe mention at the beginning of the dungeon that you plan to use it. As a melee say "If we have LB at the second boss, I'll use it there so it will refill for the last boss" or if you're a caster "I'll use LB on the enemies in the next room since caster LB can hit them all".
    Yes, maybe! I agree.
But LB being showed on the novice hall tutorials at least would teach that LB exists and is divided by role and classes. No need to teach every single aspect of the thing at each tier of them (LB1, LB2 and LB3) to a party, but teaching that is a feature inside game and a lot helpfull will avoid people being surprised by a tank begging for a LB in a party that don't know what is a LB... '-'

About the situational aspect, let's just make a NPC there tell us this. "Study with your party the best moment and type of LB to be used for the most efficient effect according to the fight and party need" or something like... Easy to tell, easy to understand...

And yes, I totally agree with the last part. We can teach them about it at the start of a dungeon/trial. But I think the Novice Hall stuff wouldn't hurt them brains and give a base to start the talking...

Novice Hall courses begins just before Sastasha. Don't take much time to use LB for real in the first dg.

Also, not every veteran like to teach new bloods. So, some of them could end up discovering about LB only after a wipe or two.... or three.... or four.... or never... '-'

Not what i thought this thread was coming in.

I thought it would be to defend individual Limit breaks, like it happens in PvP. That would be much better than the one for everyone.

It's comical to assume that if the LB is once again a "default ability," that bad players would be "aware of its existence," nevermind actually use it when they should.

I joined mid stormblood and had no idea how to use an lb until after level 50. I was a healer main at the time and we ended up wiping on some trials. That's when I was taught. Side note: I picked up tank soon after and had no idea what enmity was or how to check. Boy were the early days for my tanking a rough ride
