reposting about my FPS issues

Repost another post about the issues with the in game fps limiter and issues related to changes and reverts of fps caps during shadow bringers launch.

To clarify it has nothing to do with my pc it is ffxiv and nothing less. my pc is capable of 4k max settings on any game i play, and does so. FFXIV is the only game where i cant go above 72 fps without it freezing up. please pass this along to devs and maintenance teams to look into reanalyzing and checking on a fix. it clearly by others post very simliar to mine is an issue.

what im running is a

Intel Core i9-9900K
32GB ram
RTX 2080 Ti

everything is up to date everything works fine. its FFXIV not the pc

That's weird I have I7-9700k with 32gb ram and Rtx 2080 oc. I have windows 10 64bit and I play all the time with 240+ fps and game never freezes up on me from it. when play it in 4k get about 100 fps and never freezes up. Not sure what cause yours to freeze up. I know have to turn off Microsoft phone and skype or game lags and freezes up sometimes.

yeah i dont have anything running except the game some times the stream. it works just the same as yours when i play other games, its legit only ff14 its why its my firm believe it had something to do with their fps cap during shadowbringers cause i used to be able to play it like you until they did that. it prolly goofed it all up for some people

I've noticed some weirdness since they patched the cap out. I run vSync @ 60, due to my monitors bein 60Hz. I also have a clean system as far as software installs, just Steam, Discord, and games. XIV is on an SSD all by itself and I'm on an older i5 4690k and a GTX1080. I've gotten the odd stutter with no peaks on CPU or GPU useage showing. I mean it's quick, and possible the pollin rate on Afterburner and such may be too low to catch it. Point is it's new since that patch,and nothin else has change on my system.
