well, as far as I know (and experienced from the last few events) "certain items" always refer to firecrackers or glamour prisms
because you know, the other event items always goes up to mogstation after certain period of time so... yeah, there's that... .-.

I did find it mildly disappointing. Just a quick quest running around to get the mount. Once thru the house to get enough cookies for the carriage and the poster. And... that’s it.

I miss the ARR versions of the events...quest lines that had like 5-10 quests to them, with guest NPCs showing up for the festivities. Now these things are pretty forgettable, which doesn't feel right. I understand why though, considering how much work the team is under, but I still miss the amount of love we had during the original events.

The old quests were similarly short (though a fair few had daily/repeatable quests tied to them that made the events longer).

I liked the summer events we just had. More stuff and a fun jumping tower with the first, and cool fluff bits with the cutscenes in the follow up.

What I disliked about it was I did the jumping puzzle so many times on so many alts only to realize after finishing it all I could have just gotten all the rewards by buying the fish... I guess that is my own fault for having shout/say chat filtered due to rmt spam.
