    Throwing weapons. Pointless?

Throwing weapons for each Disciple of War
This has been kinda off to me since I started playing this game.
Interesting concept, but its not needed.

Why do we still have throwing weapons... for class that aren't ranged?
Its bad enough that an archer loses out on pulling a lot because there is
    chocobo pulling and tank blitzing.

I know alot of people dont seem to use them in the first place.

I don't want to sound over dramatic about this because I'm not,

    but take them out now?

Even then the ONLY one I could see keeping this is the Pugilist.
The throwing circle I was disappointed to find out was not returnable.
    Like chakrams usually are.

And how about we bring back throw on our ninjas eh?

I like having a stack of Silver Javelins for when I need to off-tank/pull stuff on LNC/DRG.

Hmm grabbing the attention of an enemy as an off-tank. Legit I can dig it. As a dragoon wouldn't a simple jump suffice though?

Building TP faster, im sure is a great tactic, but how is that at all fair to archers?
While archers build TP only on their light shot (Assuming your not autoattacking)
Other class can just straight up auto attack and throw in the extra tomahawk for more TP?
    How is that fair?

Well I only use them on the off-chance. For example, when off-tanking slugs at Mistress; since Jump can only be used once on a 1 min. timer, and there are three mobs to wrangle.

I don't play ARC/BRD but I feel like this has to become an issue sooner or later. I haven't really bothered messing around with thrown weapons but if they really don't interrupt your swings, it seems like every melee has a way to boost their TP growth beyond the intended level, and if it's significant enough, it'll most likely be adopted as a norm in many boss fights. In case that's not bad enough, the way to accomplish this is also very unintuitive and quite annoying for the player.

Pretty sure the TP gained from using throwing weapons is less than that of AA's, and you're usually interrupting your AA to use a throwing weapon anyways so you're lowering your TP gain even more.

Nope, AA is not interrupted by weapon-throwing, in fact essentially nothing short of a long execution animation will interrupt your AA sequence.
However, in relation to 'how is this fair to archers' it's pretty simple, my friend. Archers can use throwing weapons as well, giving them a (perhaps needed) secondary source of TP income. Not like i've tried that yet anyway, I haven't levelled ARC and my LS is kind of slow to get moving, but evenso.

When I was soloing as an archer, I had a lot of firepots and some bomb arms that accelerated the TP generation process.

Alternating between Light Shot and Throw. It looks like Levinstones are probably the only easy to obtain throwing weapons that archers can use now. Would probably want to run a parser several times with and without throwing weapons involved.
