Capslock acting like I tabbed out

Hello,

I am new to the game but played 11 for a long time.

Currently it looks like when I hit caps lock it says it cannot detect DirectX and closes the game (like I alt tabbed) is this a known issue or is there a way to stop it? I tried to look in the forums but searching caps lock brings up non related issues.
