During my first teleconference with our counterparts in Japan, the team asked me what my job was. So I answered, "Oh, I play warrior."
That got me a weird look from my supervisor: "No, your job is a translator."

Oh... they meant THAT job...

Thankfully, I didn't get the axe for my mistake, so I'm here to introduce myself as the newest recruit to the NA Community Team!

FFXIV was my first FINAL FANTASY game, and I’ve been a defender of the realm since the launch of Heavensward.

Can you please translate this thread (Machinist-latency-issues-need-recognition-akin-to-Ninja) for the devs? I don't think they quite understand the ping problems happening abroad because they get to enjoy 5 ms latency with their data center in Japan.
