    What are you grinding off of now post 1.21?

    At level 44 and 45 I've been grinding off of Electrum Rings. I get about 640exp from em' and around 1000exp with rested bonus. They aren't hard to make at that level, but I recommend guild support.

    you should be getting alot more xp than that, are you still spamming standard? Because with quality of about 200 and rested bonus I would have expected xp of around 2k for a synth 51-60. If you can't get quality up I recommend going for a lower synth since rank 45 leves gives me 2k each synth and I am 44-45

    You do realize guild support does not make the synth easier right?
    It doesnt work that way.

    suport. is suposed to raise your lv range by1-3. 2-5. 3-6. in they diference scales i ben able to do items syntesis on. 7-10 lv range adobe my lv on the master suport

    Support NEVER did this
    It was stated several times it did not do this by deves

    in 11 it may have sure, but not in 14

    the ONLY thing support does right now is make sure you dont have a huge chance of failure on synths requiring it


    in the future they planm on doing something with support, but right now it does not do what you are claiming

    also, you can do 7-10 above you without support just as easily

    I can swear my Standard Spamming goes better with support back in the day...lol

    ya they have stated in dev posts that support does nothing for items not requiring it. They said once all the reform has changed and old synths have been removed that support will likely either be gotten rid of or changed to as described.

    My answer to the original question is that I don't gind anymore now that I've hit 45. I can make pretty much anything easily enough and for 1-2K EXP I do the electrum rings, spiritbond them, turn to materia and then do more rings. Combine that with making rings for my LS and I am slowly but surely levelling to 50 about 10K XP per day.

    I really don't see much need to grind further ones I can make everything. For some of the other classes where I also need to meld to the gear I make it is a different story of course.

    I would say also don't forget the impact of repairing peoples jewelry and ifrit weapons and such. it soon ranks up

    I got from ranks 46-48, by making accessories for myself/linkshell and stocking my retainers with accessories to sell. (Mostly the gemmed items, I just buy the materials and still make huge profits.)
