Constant game crashing

Hello,

I have been running the game on the Steam side of things and haven't been having issues til this most recent patch. Every now and then i manage to get into a hub of many people and then the game crashes and will not let me log back in the game at all.



These are the errors i am getting. Can this issue get resolved please? Thanks!

How long have you been experiencing this issue? Have an updates or changes been made to the PC? What have you tried to alleviate the problem? Could you also provide a system report Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display.'

I have also now reinstalled the game and still getting the same issue... I am hoping the 5.0 patch fixes this issue or i will be unable to play the game.

Good afternoon and thank you for posting on the Final Fantasy XIV Technical Support Forums.

To clarify, does this crash occur when you log in the game, or while playing it? Your first comment was a little vague. If in-game, do you notice any patterns to the crash?

You may want to try a clean boot. Simply open the task manager and select the 'Start up' tab. Disable everything here and restart the PC. This will make sure that no background processes are interfering with the game.

Make sure not to have any overlays active while playing the game (Steam overlay, Geforce Experience, etc.).

If you have any part of your computer overclocked, remove it and make sure nothing is overheating.
