Hi, first post here. I leave here a suggestion for a UI change which demonstrate differences in damage types (magical/physical)

What?
I have played since the beginning of Stormblood and find the most annoying thing to not be capable of easily differentiating between physical and magical damage an enemy deals to a player. Currently, the only way to do so is by looking at the battle logs which update insanely fast and finding the ability which damaged you. With the introduction of the new interrupt interface in Shadowbringers, it seems fair to assume that changing the color of the text of an enemies' cast bar to show that it is magical would be an easy task.

How?
I leave the following suggestions. Having one or many of these UI changes available as an option or simply by default would be a great QoL improvement:
  • Make an enemies cast bar a different color when it is a magical ability;
  • Give a background(image around) the ability to demonstrate whether it is magical or physical;
  • The damage received by a player could be shown as a different color tint based on whether it is magical/physical/other.

Why?
This is a fairly minor thing to the majority of the playerbase. However, we have the addition of yet another cooldown to the DRK kit in Shadowbringers which state a "decrease in magical damage received", making it even more so important that DRK know about the different forms of damage they receive. SCH's Fey illumination still only reduces magical defense. This strange mechanic did not leave the game as did elemental damage, a mechanic which was considered too complex and superfluous. If there is an intention to keep damage types in the game, it should correctly be maintained and updated.

Thanks!
