    Could square revive fates?

    I'm a super casual player, I sub on and off of the game so I'm unaware of the need for fates at endgame.

    However, I would love if square somehow brought fates back alive for levelling classes. Just thinking back in ARR where there would always be so many people in northern than farming fates... was just good old fashioned fun!

    If they gave them a blanket buff yeah, but right now there's just way more efficient methods of levelling

    I wish SE would enliven the open world in any fashion. It used to be so much fun with erryone runnin about doin stuff. Now we all sit in the cities or at our houses between doin things, it's lame.

    I would think SE would need to give them a buff so rxp rates were equivalent to PotD/HoH or maybe a little bit extra exp. I think the issue is when the difference of exp is large that some leveling rates die. Probably would need to give FATES a bit exp since dungeons and HoH gives you rewards while FATES generally do not give extra rewards, only exp.

    The thing is, everyone kept screaming loudly about having to do FATEs in the open-world for Relic and Anima weapons, so they made Eureka. Now people only do FATEs in Eureka zones.

    I actually kinda miss the ARR days when every major zone was rife with people running the various FATEs. Quarrymill and Coerthas have been forever etched into memory because of FATE spamming. The greatest thing about them was that if I only had 5 minutes to play before I had to do something else, FATEs were a great way of getting xp real quick (and it's really simple to drop them entirely to go do something else). Being locked into more time consuming dungeons (leveling, potd, etc.) is kinda meh in comparison.

    Fates are rather worthless right now unless you are using the new stone currency for crafting mats or trying to get specific achievements. The xp and gil rewards are laughable. 115 gil for completing a level 75 fate? Seriously? Make them more rewarding so you don't feel like you are punishing yourself by doing a fate instead of a dungeon.

    I would welcome a return of the old FATE farming parties. They were actually enjoyable in ARR 2.X. However, I think we would need new additions of them with greater variety for a less tedious experience.

    Maybe if they tied more things to the FATEs similar to what they did with a couple steps in the relic quests in ARR and kind of revisted with the Bozjan ones now that use fates in HW areas. They are a decent source of EXP to do while waiting for duty queues if you're leveling a DPS class. We all know healer and tank will just instaqueue >.> lol

    The game is plagued with enough inflation as it is due to the severe lack of gil sinks to take it out of circulation. We don't need to make the problem worse by making them hand out more gil.
