Question about buying Shadow Bringers?

So, I bought this game on PS4 ages ago and loved it but sadly I never kept up with it.. but with all the hype and excitement around the new expac and the twitch prime promotion, I have jumped back in feet first with a leap to PC through the promotion.

I prepurchased Shadowbringers and got my early access code.. but do I get access to the previous expansions now or do I have to wait for shadowbringers to come out. It says on the site that with the registration of the product that you get access to previous expacs.. but when I look at my mog station, it is still asking me to buy both of the older expacs..

Shadowbringers includes the previous expansions but unfortunately you'll need to wait for the early access to unlock Heavensward and Stormblood.

Ugh, that's almost criminal.. so if I want to catch up i'm on the hook for them anyway. I should have held off.. ah well,

Yes, it's really bad since players could use this time to catch up the main story to be ready for the new expansion.

Just early access to the new content and some ingame items.
