Hello, friends. Gath is here to bring about an idea that could well work with the balancing of the economy. First of all Gath notices that there is too many of certain items crafted and being sold on the wards. Gath knows that these can be used for materia and the such.
Well, after a lot of pondering about our market wards Gath has come up with a conclusion that would make being something actually mean being something. Hokay, Gath thinks a "Master Craft" specialization should be put into effect down the road.
When they finally raise the level cap of classes, Gath and you all know the tedium that will come about with leveling them. In the long run there will be everybody with everything at max and it will make everybody the same, yet again. To have master crafts will change this.
Say you have someone with every craft at 50 and they are pushed to choose ONE craft to take beyond 50, but once they hit 51 they cannot go back and cannot take any of the other crafts past 50. However, when they choose the craft to go beyond 50 it changes into a Master Craft...like CUL would change into Sous Chef or Master Chef.
Recipes that go past 50 will be unique to the master crafts that none of the other master crafts can produce. Just like how the crafting system was in 11, it helped it so the economy would not be completely flooded with the same "good" items and make them something that is way too common.
This is just something that Gath thought would help add uniqueness to inidividuals when it comes to their craft. Gath hopes that you, Gath's fans, will help Gath structure this into something of note, something that will get people preparing to do what they want. When they start a craft they may go "Hey, I think I want to be a master BSM and make weapons that gods themselves will be jealous of!
