Samurai "Boxer" Opener Question

So, I'm sure most people have seen the rotation opener chart, and the boxer opener is recommended for 1633 SKS plus. I've been using it and it does seem to line up a bit better than the standard rotation. But at the beginning of the rotation, after your first Hakaze, there's a Meditate. It doesn't say how long to actually hold the Meditate for. I'm assuming it's only for 1 tick, but just wanted to get some clarification. Thanks in advance.

Just 1 tick yes (or rather stop them as soon as GCD comes off), the trick works because your GCD hasn't been reduced by Shifu yet, and your auto-attack cycle starts as soon as you hit the enemy so you're not missing out on that either.
