    Routinely top DPS meters on trash packs as a SCH. 100 potency per enemy that doesn't scale down based on the number of enemies? Yes please. Miasma II spam all day. Miasma 2 > Shadowflare > Dots > Bane > Miasma 2 spam.

    • Veteran healers don't care if we actually have to heal, but right now we don't. We simply want something interesting to do during the downtime. That is not asking for a lot
    • Dead DPS do no DPS. Raised DPS do 25/50% lower DPS. Do the mechanics and don't stand in bad stuff.
    • Other games expect basic competence, FFXIV is pleasantly surprised by it. Other games have toxic elitism. FFXIV has toxic casualism.

    DRK + BloodWeapon/Delerium + Quietus + Abyssal Drain spam = AoE for days, and The blackest night for the blood to spam Quietus.

    For melee, Samurai is great for burst DPS. Three base AoE attacks with Fuga, Mangetsu and Oka, a hard hitting iaijustsu in Goken, Hagakure to allow Kyuten spam between base attacks and even Guren on some mob packs.

    But they run out of TP fairly quickly, especially at high skill speeds.
