HIGHLIGHTS OF THE YEAR (THE “PROMOTION”) OFFICIAL RULES

KEY RULES

A. Official Rules: The Official Rules for this Promotion consist of both (i) these key rules summarizing the important rules for participating in the Promotion (the “Key Rules”) and (ii) the Additional Promotion Official Rules (“Additional Rules”) applicable to your place of legal residence. B. Territories: This Promotion is open only to individuals who are legal residents and physically and permanently located in one of the following countries/territories at the date and time of entry (the “Promotion Jurisdiction”):

C. Age Limit: This Promotion is open only to individuals thirteen (13) years of age or older at the date and time of entry.

D. Entry Period: You may enter the Promotion only between December 19, 2018 at 10:00 GMT and January 15, 2019 at 10:59 GMT (the “Entry Period”).

E. Entry Procedure and Limitations: In order to enter the Promotion, you must complete the following steps during the Entry Period:

Step 1: Entrants must select their three (3) top in-game moments of the year in Final Fantasy XIV (“FFXIV”) using screenshots, and include a small explanation in plain text to tell the story behind each moment.

Step 2: Entrants must submit the images on the FFXIV Lodestone forum thread or through the Square Enix Upload website: https://sqex.to/HN5

1. Take three screenshots and add text. Entrants must include up to 50 words max. per screenshot
2. Your in-game character needs to appear in all screenshots.
   More than one person can appear in the screenshot but only the entrant (who took the screenshot) is eligible for a prize
3. In your entry, include your character name and World name.
   If no character name or World name is submitted, the prize will be awarded to the character on the entrant's forum handle. Your in-game character needs to appear in at least one screenshot.
   *Note: Prizes will be sent to the in-game character designated here
4. Include the in-game item prize that you would like to receive from the list below. If no item is selected, one will be chosen for you

• You must have an active FFXIV service account (which includes free trial members)
• You may only use image editing software to crop the screenshots and add the text and/or speech bubbles / icons.
• Entries are limited to one (1) per person, one (1) FFXIV account
• Entries that violate the contest rules will be moderated/removed and the entry will be disqualified
• FFXIV Free Trial players may upload their entries via the Square Enix Upload website: https://sqex.to/HN5

F. Winner Selection: The Sponsor (listed below), or Sponsor’s designee, shall select 40 winners from among all entries using the following methodology:

Square Enix Limited’s Community Team will select winners based on the quality and creativity of the screenshots, as well as, the accompanying text.

G. Prize(s): Each winner shall receive each of the following prize(s):

• One of their choosing:

• i. Ahriman Choker
• ii. Mandragora Choker
• iii. Bluebird Earing
• iv. Scarf of Wondrous Wit
• v. Chocobo Noble Barding
• vi. Gaelicap

H. Winner Notification: Sponsor, or Sponsor’s designee, will notify winner(s) by or about the 12th of Feburary, 2019 via the official forums. The Prize will be distributed via the in-game Moogle delivery service. The delivery method may be subject to change in Sponsor’s sole discretion.

I. Sponsor: The sponsor of this Promotion is Square Enix Limited.

By entering the Promotion, you agree to be bound and abide by these Key Rules and the Additional Rules applicable to your place of legal residence, and you represent that you satisfy all eligibility requirements to enter the Promotion.

NO PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND IS NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN THIS PROMOTION. A PURCHASE OR PAYMENT OF ANY KIND WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. YOU MUST HAVE LEGALLY ACQUIRED ACCESS TO FINAL FANTASY XIV OR YOU MUST BE A FREE TRIAL PLAYER PRIOR TO THE LAUNCH OF THE PROMOTION. PRIZES SHALL BE DELIVERED VIA THE IN-GAME MOOGLE DELIVERY SERVICE (WHICH MAY BE SUBJECT TO CHANGE AT SPONSOR’S DISCRETION). PRIZES ARE VIRTUAL WITH NO MONETARY VALUE AND CANNOT BE SOLD OR TRANSFERRED.
